The NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver Certification program through Black Hills Aquatic Adventures’ NAUI VA Testing Center is designed for divers ready to take their awareness, confidence, and leadership skills to the next level.
Qualified service members and veterans may use G.I. Bill® benefits toward approved scuba certification and professional-level dive training. Students can continue progressing through advanced recreational and professional dive leadership pathways using eligible VA education benefits.

What Is Rescue Diver Training?
Rescue Scuba Diver training focuses on prevention, problem-solving, diver assistance, and emergency management. The course teaches divers how to recognize potential issues before they become emergencies while building the confidence and skills needed to assist others underwater and at the surface.
This course is often considered one of the most rewarding and confidence-building certifications a diver can earn.

Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 15 years old
- Advanced Scuba Diver certification or equivalent
- Current CPR and First Aid training
